My Thousand Miles of Life: Lets go to the zoo

20/12/09, was my birthday.. sue asked if v want to do as volunteers at natinal zoo.. yes yes, i want.. partly bcoz i have no birthday appointment, partly bcoz i wan to do something meaningful on my birth day..

at zoo... waiting for briefing from the PIC of educational department berazam-azam to be a volunteer giraffes and i
da xiang, da xiang and we were allocated to aviary zone. our first task was to sweep the emu's compound sweep, sweep, sweep, let me clean your house, little emu !!! sweep until my hand got blister !!! during lunch time, had our lunch at staff's canteen.
we had 1.5 hours lunch time, v took a trip round the zoo after we finished our lunch... lion king, sponsored by ING.. dear ar, ING's logo is a lion, so they must also sponsor a lion ar ???? (threw a lame question to sue, LOL)
after lunch time, i though v would be allocated with some new tasks, naively thought that we may have an opportunity to have close contact with those aviaries... sekali, masih sapu !!! eh, i am not here as street sweeper hor !!! i got pissed off liao... eh ?? come on, is the purpose of this volunteer programme to get free labour ??? WTF.. i kept swearing and cursing during which !!!!!! at last, i got the chance to have a parrot stood on my shoulder.. but, what to be proud of ??!! a tourist would have this chance also la...
what an unpleasant experience... meaningful birthday ??!! meaningful your head !!!!!!
