Chawanmushi


Made this Chawanmushi on Saturday's night after cello practice and found it is actually super easy..

Ingredients :
shrimps, carrot, chicken breast (seasoned with 1 teaspoon sake + 1 teaspoon soy sauce), crabstick, mushroom

for custard : 3 eggs, water*, 1/2 teaspoon dashi-no-moto, 1 tablespoon sake, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt

* ratio of egg to water : 1 to 3

dump everything into a container and steam it will do...

However, i dun have dashi-no-moto and since the amount needed is small, so i replaced it with aji-no-moto.. ha ha ha... sake ??? yes, yes, i have.. my friend bought 1 for me from japan recently.

teng teng teng.. here is my chawanmushi... hmmm... edible but if compared with those from japanese restaurant, still lack of something.... i think is the dashi-no-moto.. nvm, science is an experiment, will get the dashi and try again... !!!
