I started to read English book during UNI time... i like to read but not in English of course until i met him... He amazed me as his really read a lot and he has tonnes of book on his book shelves. He kept asking and encouraging me to read.. and i just tried to avoid it with whatever excuses available... i got no time la.. i busy la... next time la...
One day, he insisted to pass me a story book, to be more precious, a children story book in English, BIG FRIENDLY GIANT by Roald Dahl... i knew i cant escape this time... so i took the book and never have any intention to read it.. i planned to keep the book for as long as i could until he chase for it..
Sekali... everytime i met him, he would ask me about the progress and the contents of the book... what the hell !!! In order to set up a good example for him, i got no choice... So i started to read and reported to him ... Finally, i finished the first book... he passed me the second... WAHH......
Who is he ??? Friends who close enough to me would know....
Eventually, i started to read English books... the first English book i owned is about Princess Diana... i didnt finish that book. Mainly bcoz the language is deep and the contents is a bit boring.. So i told sue about it.. she recommended me two books. (1) My Forbidden Face (2) The Story of My Life - Helen Keller
